Weekly Goals

Weekly Goals

It’s check in and goal time for the week. Sharing my goals here helped a lot during the week as I had a list to refer to as well as knowing that I was posting again this week I had given myself a deadline to get things done.

If you missed it, you can read my goals for last week here.

How did I go? I got all my blog posts written. You can read my post on Christian Writers Downunder here, and my post on my author site here.

My editing didn’t quite go as planned due a migraine on Tuesday night and feeling ordinary for the rest of the week, but I did get editing done, probably more than I would have done otherwise. My 11 year old also went through the manuscript I was editing and picked up on some errors that my editor and I both missed this time through.

Here are my goals for the coming week:

  • Continue editing – my aim is to edited a chapter a night
  • Write one post for my author site – I want to keep these posts coming as I know how much they can help with search engine traffic
  • Write/publish three posts for this blog – this post doesn’t count
  • Plan post for my upcoming spot on the brand new Just Write for Kids blog
  • Write a book week costume post for Green Oaks Primary School site in case anyone wants to dress up as Sam

If you would like to join in, please add your goals in the comments or on your own blog and share the link so we can keep each other motivated and moving towards achieving our goals. I’ll let you know next week how I go.
