Blog Post #16 – Where am I?

Where are you?

Welcome to the blog post prompt for this week. If you’re blogging along this week, or coming back another time to join in, please add your link in the comments so we can check out your blog too. If you add a link, please visit one or two of the other links and add a comment.

Have you been hanging out somewhere interesting lately? Let your readers know about where you have been.

I’m not suggesting you blog about every minute detail about where you are, just interesting places related to your writing.

Some examples could include:

  • Speaking events – let your readers know about any conferences, festivals or workshops you are speaking at, or have spoken at.
  • Learning events – have you attended a conference or workshop on an interesting topic related to your writing? Share some of the things you’ve learned
  • Research locations – have you visited somewhere interesting that may end up as a location in one of your books? Share the details in a blog post. It may not have been for a specific book you are writing, however it may just be somewhere interesting that could spark a story.
  • Writing locations – have you sat somewhere different to write your latest story or chapter? Did you find it particularly inspiring or distracting? Let your readers know about it.

These posts could be planned in advance, especially if you don’t want to give too much away about your current work in progress, and scheduled to tie in with your book release.

Where possible, include photographs of where you’ve been, as well as any relevant links.

If you are using this prompt on your blog, add your link in the comments. I look forward to hearing about where you are..
