Dream I had last night…

I think I’ve been immersed in my stories a bit much lately. I had a strange dream last night.

I was wearing a tiara and a Superman cape, reading my book to a group of kindergarten kids, with some cool activities ready to share with them.

I went home to update the Jimmy James website with some more resources for teachers and parents as well as getting in some entries for a school holiday competition before going off to do a school visit with magic lantern in tow, before picking up the kids from school.

Sitting on my desk at home is the first preview copy of the new Jimmy James live action TV series, due to be aired on ABC3. I can’t wait to show it to my kids when we get home.

That evening, I was heading off to speak to a group of business owners while promoting my Accidental WAHM books.

The strangest thing about this dream was that my kids weren’t much older than they are now…

Maybe the whole process of getting my Princess story ready to submit to a competition is helping me see that this could all become a reality – and sooner than I think!

  1. Cool. It would be so much fun to dress up in a cape and tiara and I’m sure the kids would love it. I hope that dream becomes a reality soon!

  2. Hmmm…I think you’ve analyzed your dream fairly accurately. I’d like to add that your dream may also mean that in addition to the upcoming adventure with your work, you’re the Queen of all that you survey and a super mom to boot!

Thanks Pam. One of the pieces I’m writing is called “Down with Supermum” – so I’m not a super mum, but I will take the Queen title. 🙂

  3. lol… can just see you in your cape and tiara Melissa. The kids would love it. I think things are on the horizon for you… soon to happen! Good luck!

Thanks 🙂 I’ve been thinking of getting a bear & dressing it up as a princess with a superman cape to inspire me… maybe I’ll get one when my book comes out 🙂
