Prompt #27 – Best part of the challenge

Best part of the challenge

The 27th prompt of the Author Blog Challenge is:

What has been the best part of participating in the Author Blog Challenge? What are your suggestions for improving the next Author Blog Challenge?

I can’t believe the challenge is almost over. It has been a wonderful ride. The prompts have been wonderful, helping me thing about myself as a writer.

Some of them don’t apply to me yet, as I haven’t had a book published… but it was fun to dream about what things would be like. For some of them, like the prompt about the book signing, I hadn’t dared dream about yet.

In general, the challenge has also got me thinking about publishing, and getting my books finished so that I can join in next time as a published author.

I have also discovered some wonderful blogs, full of great tips for writing and getting published, as well as making some great connections with other writers. I’m going to miss the regular visiting of the group and discovering all the new posts. I hope the group stays open so we can still go back and read the posts we haven’t read yet (there are a lot of great posts and only a certain number of hours in the day!).

What are my suggstions for next time?

One would be some sort of linky for each day. This way I can read blog posts in my lunch break when I’m not able to log in to Facebook šŸ™‚

I have really enjoyed the different prompts, and I hope that next time the prompts are different again. They have been thought provoking. A few I’m not sure I answered as well as I could have, but they were still fun to write.

There is only one prompt left in the challenge (for tomorrow), I’m looking forward to the next challenge later in the year šŸ™‚

  1. I agree with your sentiments, Melissa – kind of wish I’d said it first šŸ™‚

  2. I agree, Melissa. And I am slowly working ym way through all of the different posts too. There are so many to read, and I can’t fit them all in one day, unfortunately.
